About  Big Iron photography

Based near Timaru,in the South Canterbury region, on the East Coast of the South Island of New Zealand, I am suituated idealy to photograph   some of the best collections of old and new machinery in NZ .

Having worked  with in the earthmoving sector for longer than I care to remebmer ,and also sheering an interest in historical machineary, I feel I understand why it is that people form attachments to these big bits of iron, I attempt to capture that feeling of nostalgia in each of my images.
